2040 Series Gated Intensified CCD Camera Systems

The NVS 2040 series cameras are a single piece unit with automatic control of intensifier gate width for all lighting conditions. The 2040 series have an RS-232 interface and are available with a high resolution Gen II or Gen III intensifier, which are 18mm in diameter and have a custom wrap-around power supply that allows external gain control. Each camera can be controlled via computer or control box, and may be used with any RS-170 frame grabber digital analysis system.

Min-I-Cam

The Min-I-Cam is an extremely compact, intensified, single piece camera that is ideal for covert surveillance applications (day or night). It has a custom image intensifier wired for gating and external gain control, a gate drive amplifier that switches the photocathode on and off, and an autogate circuit that controls gating and gain of the intensifier. Intensifier gate width and gain can also be manually controlled. The Min-I-Cam is available with a Gen II, Gen II XD-4, Gen III, Gen IV or UV intensifier.

2071 Series Lens Coupled Intensifier for CCD Cameras

The NVS 2071 series is a lens coupled, image intensifier accessory for use with any C-Mount video camera. It consists of an image intensifier and a relay lens assembly. The 2071 is available with a Gen II, Gen III, or UV intensifier. Although the video relay lens is designed for use with a 1/2” format camera, it may also be used with a 1/3” and 2/3” format (producing a slightly different field of view). Video relay lenses for other formats are also available. The 2071 can be wired for gating and external gain control; it can also be supplied with a gate drive amplifier which converts TTL level signals into the levels required to switch the photocathode.

9971 Series Lens Coupled Gated Intensifier for CCD Cameras

The NVS 9971 series is a lens coupled, gated image intensifier accessory for use with any C-Mount video camera. It consists of an image intensifier wired for gating and external gain control, a gate drive amplifier that switches the photocathode on and off, and a relay lens assembly. The gate drive amplifier converts TTL level signals into the levels required to switch the photocathode. The Model 9971 is available with a Gen II, Gen III, or UV intensifier. Although the video relay lens is designed for use with a 2/3” format camera, it may also be used with a 1/2” format with a slightly reduced field of view. Video relay lenses for other formats are also available.

9540 Series Gated Intensified CCD Camera Systems

The NVS Models 9540 and 9540/III consist of a Sony XC-ST70 CCD camera, control unit and interface cables. Either camera may be used with any RS-170 frame grabber digital analysis system. The 9540 camera has a Gen II intensifier fiber optically coupled to the CCD sensor; the 9540/III camera has a Gen III intensifier. Both intensifiers are 18mm in diameter and have a custom wrap-around power supply that allows external gain control.

Model 9756A Binocular Intensified Eyepieces

The NVS Intensified Binocular Eyepiece units consist of a Generation III intensified “pocketscope”, a focusing relay lens, and an attachment mechanism. Designed to fit Fujinon Large-size Waterproof Super Power Binocular model numbers: 25x150MT-SX, 25x150ED-SX, 25x150EM-SX and 40x150ED-SX or on the Ship Binocular 20 Power Mark III Mod 5 “Big Eyes”.
