BLU-BIRD Sensor Module

The BLU-BIRD OBR (Ballistics Logging Unit - Basic Information Recording Device) Sensor Module is an on-board sensor suite designed to mate with the BLU-BIRD OBR. The Sensor Module plugs directly into the OBR 25 pin connector and is powered by the OBR battery pack. Data channels not used by the Sensor Module as well as the OBR control pins are passed through the Sensor Module to a second 25 pin micro-D connector identical to the OBR interface connector.

The Sensor Module contains a three axis rate sensor, capable of accurately measuring rates up to 6000 deg/sec, and a three axis 250G accelerometer.
